Just release is a component for Joomla 1.5.x Legacy.

This is a simple component that will enable you to link a menu item to a list of Articles. The list of Articles is based on one or more of the following;
  • The first character of the Title
  • Section
  • Category
  • Custom search term

Features :
  • Ability to have many distinct directories
  • Connect the component to a menu item. With custom parameter for each menu item
  • List articles from a section or category
  • List articles by alphabetical letter in section or category selected into the directory
  • Sorting on items of contents
  • Custom search of Title to obtain list of Articles (For example Display all Articles who's title contains the word 'solar')

Update 31 Match 2010, Given the number of people who have used it we are re-writting the component as a native Joomla 1.5 component. This should be available in the near future.
